Noma Shop was created by a mother who believes in keeping a beautiful and stylish home while raising her children. Tired of the constant stream of mass-produced children's goods, she set out to provide an alternative: a family marketplace and design store, focused on curating a playful selection of beautiful, yet functional and safe, products.
Each product at Noma is chosen for its aesthetic, but also for its durability and high-quality materials. Everything is clean and modern, yet colourful and bold, and bridges the gap between function and decoration. Most importantly, everything is selected to make both mum and kid happy, putting smiles on everyone's faces. We're passionate about everything we do and know that passion resonates through every part of our experience. Noma is all about the customer journey, from the first glimpse of our online platform, through to the excitement of the package being dropped off at your door. We carefully design each step of the way with you in mind, with our aim being to bring joy and engaging design to your life.
We are inspired by bold colours, interesting shapes, eye-catching patterns, encouraging words, and, most of all, exceptional craftsmanship with careful attention to detail. We work with exciting brands that share similar values and support European producers striving to offering something unique from the everyday. Our high standards mean that we don't have a huge selection as some of the big leading mass produced stores. We prefer quality over quantity. Every one of our products is picked by a discerning eye, selected for its aesthetic and function, and of course the amount of joy it will bring to your life.While joy & design are paramount, we make sure every product in our eclectic selection is manufactured to the most exacting of standards. We only partner with producers with the skill needed to create strong, robust items, which can survive action-packed playtimes and boisterous games, while also retaining those essential elements that bring so much joy. It's this combination of playful design and functionality that defines who we are.
We believe in making the world a better place, one product at a time. Unfortunately, the clothing industry and children's products are in the top five largest polluters on the planet, contributing to a world that we wouldn't be proud to leave to our children. Noma's aim is to contribute towards changing the industry, by constantly striving to become a more eco-friendly and sustainable business. We're not quite there yet, but we're getting ever closer, and we hope to reach our goal within the next couple of years. We currently only work with brands that commit to the same values as us and tailor their production to limit the harmful pollutants they release into the atmosphere.
